Overview

This 3-day Certified Software Tester (CSTE) Exam Study Course is designed to help candidates prepare for the certification examination. It assists the professional to focus on the topics that are important for understanding and thus help towards the successful completion of the exam.

The CSTE Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) skill categories have been selected to address the challenges faced by today’s software tester. The instructor led CSTE Exam Study Course is a facilitated discussion and presentation of the ten CBOK skill categories.

The course reinforces current knowledge, re-introduces concepts that may not be used everyday, explains the rationale for use, and highlights both multiple choice and essay type sample examination questions and responses. It is recognized that many software testers do not need to be competent in all of the CBOK categories to fulfill their current job responsibilities. However, the CSTE candidate should have a working knowledge of the information in all skill categories and will be examined on all ten CBOK categories.

This course provides a background of the software business analyst fundamentals and also includes the more advanced concepts, which the Certified Software Tester must understand. The completion of this course along with the necessary practical experience and related resource familiarity will help prepare the candidate for the CSBA examination.

Included in the course is a five question practice essay exam and 50 question practice multiple choice exam that will be graded and reviewed by the instructor.

Who Should Attend

Individuals who have applied for the CSTE certification program and have been preparing to sit for the examination would benefit from this course. This is a refresher course that covers the CSTE CBOK skill areas for test preparation.

The price includes the course material, lunch & breaks each day, and a certificate of completion. Hotel and travel arrangements are the responsibility of the attendee. Please do not make travel reservations untill you receive confirmation from QAI.

  • All cancellations must be made in writing - either by mail, e-mail, or fax.
  • All payments must be received by QAI prior to the start of the conference/seminar.
  • If cancelled 5 calendar days, or later, prior to the start date or for no-shows - NO REFUND
  • If cancelled 6-30 calendar days prior to the start date - 50 % of the conference/seminar fee will be non-refundable.
  • If cancelled prior to 30 calendar days to the start date - A full refund will be issued.
  • You are welcome to substitute if you cannot attend, but please notify in advance.
  • You may reschedule with at least four weeks notice prior to the conference/seminar for which you are currently registered.
